It takes a pride

This was supposed be just a practice piece but it evolved into this monster...

The title is just a twist on the old saying "it takes a village to raise a child". Well, it takes a pride to raise a bunch of cubs

This is Sarafina and Sarabi with all the cubs (assuming they all knew each other before the chaos). Lionesses are know to be communal mothers and will often take on cubs that don't belong to them. I see no reason why Saffy or Sarabi would be any different. The cubs are (top level and left to right) Chumvi, Mheetu, Tama, Tojo and Nala. Bottom Level, left to right: Malka, Kula, and Simba.

I dedicate this piece to my mom and all the moms out there celebrating Mother's Day.
